About SeizeABILITY!:
SeizeABILITY! is an eight-week paid initiative that combines career planning, hands-on work experience, and specialized online training to help youth with epilepsy unlock their full potential in the workplace. This program is a fantastic opportunity for participants to:
- Gain valuable insights into career planning and professional development.
- Understand how epilepsy and related conditions may impact work life.
- Learn how to identify and request appropriate workplace accommodations.
- Develop disclosure strategies and enhance goal-setting skills.
Paid Training and Work Experience
Participants in the SeizeABILITY program will be paid for both the training and work experience placements, making this a unique opportunity for youth to gain both knowledge and practical skills while earning an income. Training will take place online and work placements will be local to the participant or virtual.
