Become an Employer For SeizeABILITY!

Are you an employer looking to make a meaningful impact while gaining access to eager, trained, and motivated young talent?

SeizeABILITY! is an innovative eight-week employment, government-funded program combining career planning, hands-on work experience, and online skills training. We are seeking employer partners to host participants for 4-week, wage-subsidized placements. This is your chance to help youth living with epilepsy and related conditions gain valuable work experience—while receiving support and benefits as an employer.

Why Partner with SeizeABILITY?

  • Wage Subsidies
We’ll subsidize participants’ wages during the 4-week placement—making it a low-risk, high-reward opportunity for your organization.

  • Pre-screened & Trained Participants
All participants are job-ready and have completed specialized training focused on career development, workplace accommodations, disclosure strategies, and more.

  • Support Your Community
Your participation directly supports youth with epilepsy as they build confidence and prepare for long-term employment success.

  • Strengthen Workplace Inclusion
Hosting a SeizeABILITY! participant sends a strong message about your commitment to equity, inclusion, and accessibility in the workplace.

“The SeizAbility Program has had a profound impact on the Seizure & Brain Injury Centre by strengthening our capacity as an organization while enriching our culture with resilience, talent, and lived experience. Providing meaningful workplace opportunities to individuals living with epilepsy has been nothing short of transformative. We sincerely hope the experience has been equally impactful for those who have been part of our organization, supporting their confidence, skills, and career development. Given its success, we truly believe the SeizAbility Program has the potential to become a provincial employment model, demonstrating how inclusive workplaces can empower individuals and strengthen communities.”
