  • Gain valuable insights into career planning and professional development.
  • Understand how epilepsy and related conditions may impact work life.
  • Learn how to identify and request appropriate workplace accommodations.
  • Develop disclosure strategies and enhance goal-setting skills.

An 8-week paid program.” A checklist below outlines requirements: age 16–30, resident of Ontario, not currently in school, and living with epilepsy and/or a related condition. A smiling young woman with glasses holds a laptop in the bottom right. Call-to-action text says “Register now.” At the bottom, the web address epilepsytoronto.org/seizeability is displayed, alongside the Epilepsy Toronto logo and the Government of Canada logo.

Paid Training and Work Experience:

Participants in the SeizeABILITY program will be paid for both the training and work experience placements, making this a unique opportunity for youth to gain both knowledge and practical skills while earning an income. Training will take place online and work placements will be local to the participant or virtual.

Note: If you’re an employer looking to learn more about how to get involved with SeizeABILITY! and offer a placement, please visit our Employer page.
