Epilepsy Toronto will be hosting an online gathering for parents and caregivers who have experienced the loss of a loved one to SUDEP. This session will take place this fall, on October 20th, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. All are welcome, whether you are grieving a recent loss or one from years past.
This virtual circle aims to offer a safe, compassionate and welcoming space for parents and caregivers to connect and share with others who understand the unique grief that SUDEP brings, and find comfort in each other’s lived experiences with loss to SUDEP, within their community.
Our SUDEP Bereavement Circle will be co-facilitated by Katie Armstrong, our Director of Children and Youth Services, and Janet Shacter, a volunteer grief support facilitator with Bereaved Families of Ontario. This session will be offered virtually to help make this opportunity accessible to families and caregivers beyond the Toronto area.
To participate, please complete our registration form. If you have questions, please email Katie at [email protected] for more information.
