Job seekers with epilepsy often move from the “crisis of unemployment” to the “crisis of finding a job.” Many questions arise: What are the ground rules for fitting in? What about re-disclosing a disability to a new manager? What’s the golden rule and how does it apply to me?
All of these topics will be explored in our new skills-building Job Maintenance Group starting March 2. Issues like employment standards, self-advocacy and working with human resources will also be touched upon. We’ll feature guest speakers, videos, interactive dialogues and more.
The group will run from 6 pm – 7:30 pm on Wednesdays beginning March 2 until April 13th (Please note there will be no group on March 16th).
