Behaviour challenges are common among children with epilepsy. In partnership with Surrey Place, join us to learn practical strategies to address these challenging behaviours. Participants will learn how to implement Collaborative Problem Solving, an evidence-based model for solving concerning behaviours through a proactive and relational approach. This 5-week group will be co-facilitated by our Certified Child Life Specialist, Elana Ellison, and Heather Tarco, a Senior Behaviour Therapist at Surrey Place.
This group is geared towards parents caring for a child ages 6-14 with epilepsy. An intake appointment with an Epilepsy Toronto counsellor is required before group participation.
