Volunteer with Epilepsy Toronto!

Epilepsy Toronto would be nothing without all of the amazing volunteers behind the scenes who make everything we do possible. We are so grateful to the selfless volunteers who dedicate their time and support to our organization and the epilepsy community.

Volunteer Opportunity –  Twice a month- 3h shift
Honorarium $60 per shift

Location: Dolphin Bingo 1911 Eglinton Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1L 2L6

Epilepsy Toronto is seeking enthusiastic individuals with a passion for customer service to volunteer at Dolphin Bingo. As a charitable BINGO establishment, Dolphin Bingo donates the proceeds of its earnings to charitable partners that provide support services to Toronto residents. The funds raised through volunteer efforts at Dolphin Bingo are vital for Epilepsy Toronto. These funds provide essential support for a variety of programs and services, including counseling, support groups, and educational initiatives. The stable and ongoing funding from Dolphin Bingo allows Epilepsy Toronto to continue offering critical resources to individuals and families affected by epilepsy in the Toronto area.

Position Overview:

Volunteers will work in teams of two or three to assist with various tasks at Dolphin Bingo. These tasks include ensuring the gaming areas are clean, returning beverage containers to the bar, and appropriately disposing of bingo sheets.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent Epilepsy Toronto in a professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively to maintain a tidy and presentable bingo hall.
  • Collect and dispose of discarded bingo sheets.
  • Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled shift.
  • Wear the Epilepsy Toronto branded shirt provided by the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work for consecutive hours.
  • Access to a mobile phone or email for communication.
