Epilepsy Toronto and our spokesperson, 2016 NBA Champion, Tristan Thompson of the Cleveland Cavaliers are excited to bring you the ‘Amari Thompson Soiree’ presented by Community Trust!
Join our host from etalk for this exclusive VIP evening of cocktails, canapés and an electric performance by Dr. Draw taking place at the NEW Globe & Mail Centre on Thursday August 17th, 2017.
You don’t want to miss this exciting evening as friends and supporters of Epilepsy Toronto and Tristan Thompson come together to raise funds for the Amari Thompson Fund for Epilepsy Toronto.
For Tristan, it’s all about family; he has seen Amari struggling every day with seizures. At the same time he considers his little brother his greatest source of inspiration and his motivation for playing the game.
“My brother Amari who lives with the neurological disorder epilepsy, has always been the greatest motivational force in my life. As a result, I have worked diligently in my career and am so grateful because it has enabled me to get Amari the best medical treatment available, while at the same time providing for my family. Unfortunately, not every family dealing with epilepsy has had my good fortune, so it is for this reason that I have decided to create the Amari Thompson Fund.”
