SUMMARY:UPLIFT for Partners of People with Epilepsy

 lumn_text]UPLIFT stands for "Using Practice and Learning to Increase Favou
 rable Thoughts”. It is a mindfulness-based cognitive behavioural therapy
  program that improves depression\, and overall psychological quality of l
 ife. Groups of 5-8 adults meet virtually for an hour once a week for 8 wee
 ks.\n\nThe sessions teach valuable coping strategies and topics that inclu
 de: coping and relaxing\, monitoring thoughts\, and preventing future low 
 moods.\n\nFor this session of UPLIFT\, participants must:\n\n 	be at least
  18 years old\n 	be the partner to someone who lives with epilepsy\, seizu
 res\, or a seizure disorder\n 	and be struggling with depression or anxiet

 text]This 8-week session takes place on Mondays\, from 6:00 - 7:00\, March
  28 to May 23 (with a break on April 18). It is being led by Stephanie Ani
 ol\, a Social Work with Adult Services. This UPLIFT session is specificall
 y for partners of people living with epilepsy\; there are other UPLIFT ses
 sions for people living with epilepsy\, caregivers to children with epilep
 sy\, or with a focus on employment.\nIf you are interested in being part o
