 lumn width="1/2"][vc_column_text]UPLIFT stands for "Using Practice and Lea
 rning to Increase Favourable Thoughts”. It is a mindfulness-based cognit
 ive behavioural therapy program that improves depression\, and overall psy
 chological quality of life. Groups of 5-8 adults meet virtually for an hou
 r once a week for 8 weeks.\n\nThe sessions teach valuable coping strategie
 s and topics that include: coping and relaxing\, monitoring thoughts\, and
  preventing future low moods.\n\nParticipants must:\n\n 	be at least 18 ye
 ars old\n 	be a caretaker for someone who is\n 	and be struggling with dep
 ression or anxiety.\n\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_c
 olumn][vc_column_text]This 8-week session takes place on Tuesdays\, from M
 arch 29 to May 17\, and is specifically for caregivers. It is being led by
  Kaite Armstrong\, Director of Epilepsy Toronto's Child &amp\; Youth Servi
 ces. There are other UPLIFT programs offered for people living with epilep
 sy\, their partners\, or with a focus on employment.\nIf you are intereste
