 lumn_text]Art can have many therapeutic benefits. Regardless of talent\, i
 t can be calming\, meditative\, social and fun. In all its forms\,  art c
 an help encourage the development of healthy coping strategies for people 
 with epilepsy.\n\nYou don’t need to be Picasso to enjoy this workshop! Y
 ou do however need an open mind\, a sense of adventure and a willingness t
 o explore new things.\n\nThis workshop will allow everyone to explore thei
 r emotions\, improve self-esteem\, relieve stress  and assist in coping w
 ith the effects of epilepsy through the use of artistic expression.[/vc_co

  workshop you will need at least a few of the following: pens\, pencils\, 
 and\, if possible\, small tubes of Crafter’s Acrylic paint\, in black\, 
 white and one colour of your choice. In addition\, try to bring a sponge a
 nd two large\, two medium and one small paintbrush. All of these can be pu
 rchased at Dollarama\, including a paint palette if desired.\n\nIt would a
 lso be helpful to bring a picture\, or three\, that you like\; perhaps som
 ething that you’ve found in a book or magazine.\n\nYouhanth Youvarajah h
 as been painting and drawing as a form of therapy for the last 15 years. H
 e has assisted many adults and children to use art as a form of processing
