SUMMARY:Surgery Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Hosted in partnership with Toronto Western Hospital’s Epilep
 sy Program.\n\nThis group seeks to bring together people with epilepsy who
  have done surgery with those who are considering surgery as a treatment o
 ption. The decision to do brain surgery is a complex one\; one that has to
  be weighed in light of risks vs benefits. Connecting with others who have
  been there can help with the decision-making process.  Attendees are enc
 ouraged to bring family members along too if they wish\, so they too can l
 earn and share.\n\nThis group is facilitated online by Rosie Smith\, our D
 irector of Adult Services. An individual intake session is required befor
 e joining any of our support groups. For more information about our Surger
