PACES for Young Adults

Graphic advertisement for a new program called “PACES in Epilepsy,” offered by Epilepsy Toronto. On the left, a purple circular icon combining a brain and circuit board design appears next to the program title. Below it reads: “8-session epilepsy self-management program for young adults with epilepsy to help manage their active seizure conditions.” On the right side, a smiling young woman waves while participating in a video call on her smartphone, seated on a bed. Epilepsy Toronto’s logo and the tagline “See the Person” appear in the bottom right corner.

PACES is an 8-week virtual self-management program. This session is being offered to youth ages 18–25. Developed by the University of Washington’s Epilepsy Center and Health Promotion Research Center, PACES supports participants in building effective coping skills, setting personal goals, and improving overall well-being. The program focuses on enhancing quality of life, epilepsy self-management, self-efficacy, and mental health. Sessions will run Tuesday evenings from 7:30–8:30 PM throughout July and August.
