Disclosure Presentation with guest Matthew Karam
OCTOBER IS NATIONAL DISABILITY EMPLOYMENT AWARENESS MONTH
As part of the activities planned for this month, we will have a special guest Matthew Karam.
Matthew Karam is a recent Criminology graduate from Toronto Metropolitan University. Alongside a minor in Disability Studies, Matthew’s main interest is lived experiences regarding disabilities/disorders and accessibility.
For many people living with an invisible disability, disclosure is a tricky issue. Matthew Karam spent dozens of hours interviewing respondents for a special report on disclosure that he has recently shared. Come hear what his respondents had to say and perhaps even learn some tips in the process! All are welcome to attend. Workshop will run from 1-2pm.
PLEASE NOTE: This presentation is scheduled during EEG hours. After the presentation, our regular group will run from 2-3:30
