\nArtificial Intelligence (AI): Shaping the Future of Epilepsy Care\nGet r
eady for a glimpse into the future of epilepsy care! At this year’s AGM\
, we’re thrilled to welcome Lyle Muller as our special guest speaker. Ly
le is a leading researcher at Western University\, where he explores how a
rtificial intelligence (AI) can help us better understand the brain. His t
alk\, Artificial Intelligence (AI): Shaping the Future of Epilepsy Care\,
will break down how rapidly evolving technology is being used to pinpoint
where seizures start in the brain\, what triggers them\, and how AI can gu
ide more personalized and effective treatments—including better medicati
on options and more successful surgeries.\nWhether you're living with epil
epsy\, supporting someone who is\, or simply curious about what’s next i
n healthcare\, Lyle's presentation will open your eyes to how science and
technology are teaming up to transform lives. Don’t miss this fascinatin
g look at how AI is changing the way we approach epilepsy.\nLYLE MULLER: A
ssistant Professor\, Department of Mathematics\, Western Institute for Neu
roscience at Western University\, Lyle Muller's research spans neuroscienc
e\, computational modelling\, and applied mathematics. His work centers on
developing new approaches to large-scale recordings of neural population
dynamics in the cortex. After studying computational neuroscience at Brown
University\, Lyle completed a PhD in computational/theoretical neuroscien
ce then moved to San Diego for postdoctoral research in the Computationa
l Neurobiology Laboratory (CNL) at the Salk Institute.\n[/vc_column_text][
